How to hide your minor points with the right jewelry? Every woman wants to be beautiful and to feel beautiful and a lot of times she uses a piece of jewelry to complete her outfit or to look even more stunning than without it. But there are not so many women who feel perfect and we feel not confident about some minor points, every woman has, don’t we? And be honest: we would like to hide those minor points. And that is very well possible with the right jewelry!

In this blog post, I will discuss 10 parts of your body, that a woman cannot be happy with. And how to hide that with the right piece of jewelry.

1. My neck is wrinkled

One of the things you have to get used too is that your neck is getting wrinkled. You can wear a big collar or shawl, but there is also a much nicer solution (besides accepting that this is a fact of life). Just wear a somewhat higher neckline and a necklace that falls under that neckline. All the eyes go to that stunning necklace and not to your wrinkled neck and you will look fabulous!

2. My neck is too long, or I don’t have a neck at all

When you think that your neck is too long, you can camouflage it with a choker. That choker gives you a horizontal line over your neck, what will look shorter. Is your neck short or you don’t have a neck at all (that you can see) consider wearing a necklace that comes to your lower balance point . In this way, your neck looks longer, because you add a vertical line to your upper body.

3. My ears are a bit funny

There are many women not happy with their ears and you can cover that up in two different ways. The first way is to avoid wearing earrings and wear a statement necklace so that the attention goes to your neck and not to your ears. Another method is to wear long earrings with a bead at the lowest point. The eyes will go to the gorgeous bead and not to your ears.

4 My bust is too large or too small

Why are there so many women not happy with their bust? We envy always someone else with a different size? Well, when you think your bust is too small wear a statement necklace at your lowest balance point and people look at the necklace and not at the size of your bust. Also, a longer necklace will do the trick. When your bust has a larger size or you think it is too large you can wear a statement necklace, that falls around your highest balance point, and the attraction goes to your face instead of to your large bust.

5. My length is too small or too tall

When you are small the best thing you can do is to add vertical lines to your body with for instance a long necklace and small, but many bracelets. When you are tall avoid wearing a long necklace and stick to the shorter ones.

These are examples of longer necklaces that create a vertical line. You will look taller.

6. I have problems with my neck, back or shoulders and cannot wear jewelry

You can have problems with your neck, back or shoulders and you think that you cannot wear any necklaces, although you love them. That is not necessary because when you wear lightweight necklaces (like in the collection of FlorenceJewelshop), that are less than 50 grams / 1.76 ounces, you don’t feel them and you don’t have any problems with the weight. This is also a great advice for women that want wear a necklace the whole day: stick to the lightweight necklaces.

7. My hips and/or stomach are too large

When you feel or even see that your hips and/or the stomach are too large, there is one big tip I can give you: don’t bring the attention to those points. So don’t wear longer necklaces with pendants. Wear necklaces around your higher balance point and don’t wear very large bracelets. They bring the attention to your hips and stomach. You better wear smaller not too bulky and shiny bracelets or cuffs.

8. My upper arms are too big

Bigger upper arms make you look wider. You can avoid that by bringing a vertical line to your upper body by wearing a longer necklace or a V-shaped necklace. And better wear not too long earrings. Although they bring you an extra vertical line, that line points directly to your wider shoulder and upper arms.

9. My wrists are too small or too wide

My grandmother always said that small wrists and ankles are a woman’s beauty. But still, some women are not happy with small wrists. You can make them look bigger wearing bigger cuffs or a combination of a wider bracelet with smaller ones. But when you feel your wrists are too wide do the opposite: smaller bracelets together and not too shiny ones make your wrist look smaller. And be aware for bracelets that are too tight. Your wrist looks even wider when the bracelets don’t have the right size.

10. My fingers are too small or too long.

Camouflage your small fingers with a bigger ring on your middle finger and if possible choose a ring that is more long than wide. And your longer fingers need a ring that is more wide than long and preferably on your ring finger.

You may have noticed that all the advice I have given you so far to hide your minor points are based on the same principle: make large, big, wide pieces of your body smaller with the right pieces of jewelry, by adding verticle lines and get the attention of the eyes to a part of your body you are happy with. And the other way around.

My best advice is… try to be happy or satisfied with the body you have. It is YOU and YOU are unique and one of a kind. And let some well-chosen pieces of jewelry help you to cover up some minor points, that every woman (and also men) have.
